No, “cutsey shmoopy names” are not at all cool.  They are horrible.

With that said, and as a fellow resident of The Slope, I have to ask another question:

Is it wrong to name your baby after current indie rock superstars?  I saw this mother who could not be more than three years older than me (im 29) yelling “come here Sufjan, Sufi, come here” at Union Hall a few months back.

And another question, why was that kid at Union Hall?

So I guess this is my way of playing “what’s grosser than gross?”
