Vol. 1 Brooklyn’s Birthday Party: The Greatest 3-Minute Record Reviews Ever

Last summer, Vol. 1 Brooklyn was created in a Brooklyn coffee shop.  I wasn’t exactly sure what we were doing then, and I’m happy to report that a year later, not much has changed.

Since the beginning, people have been incredibly supportive of this site, and we figured that we should say thanks to everybody by throwing this blowout celebration at Bar Matchless on July 22nd.  We’ve asked 25 people we really like to go up on stage and talk about a record they love, and do it in under three minutes.  How they choose to review it, is up to their discretion, but we’re pretty sure that with the group of people we’ve assembled, The Greatest 3-Minute Record Reviews Ever, is going to be a pretty unforgettable evening.
