Tonight: Chicago vs. Brooklyn at BookThugNation

Tobias Carroll lives in Brooklyn, and has covered music and books for a number of publications, and his fiction has appeared in THE2NDHAND, 3:AM, Word Riot, and as part of Featherproof Books’ “Light Reading” series. He is presently working on multiple projects of varying lengths.

Mairead Case writes, edits, and clerks in Chicago. She’s managed publications like Proximity Magazine, The Journal of Ordinary Thought, and Literago.org, and published in places like featherproof, the2NDHAND, Pitchfork, Punk Planet, The Stranger, and Vice. Mairead taught writing to youth and adults in libraries and jails, co-organized the 2010 Bronx Museum Book Fair, coordinated volunteers at Louder Than a Bomb, and organized a radio show about dreams for Neighborhood Public Radio at the 2008 Whitney Biennial.

Jason Diamond is the Founding Editor of Vol. 1 Brooklyn and the editor of Jewcy.com. His work appears in multiple places, and he’s set to release a new zine in July.

Paul Durica was born in Cleveland. He has an MFA from the University of Michigan and is completing a dissertation on tramps and hobos at the University of Chicago. His writing is published or forthcoming in Another Chicago Magazine, Tin House, Indiana Review, Mid-American Review, and other places. He’s the founder and sole proprietor of Pocket Guide to Hell Tours and Reenactments.
