It seems like yesterday (actually it was Sunday), when I was talking to my friend about how the first books I ever remember caring about were Hardy Boy mystery novels. So it was nice to go over to The Millions today, and read “The Hardy Boys Need no Eulogy“.
I guess my list of books that influenced me in my formative years are pretty typical. And for the most part, I’ve revisited most of them to see how they hold up in my older years. I’ve really had no inkling to go and pick up any Hardy Boys books for the reason that they’re written for kids. That, and I might be perceived as a creep for going to a bookstore to purchase them. I guess this was the next best thing.
