Yesterday we made mention of a piece written by Jacob Silverman for Tablet, where Silverman made the point that sometimes great novelists get into the world of writing screenplays for television or movies, and they don’t always have the easiest time getting back into the groove of writing great books. 

It was a smart piece, and Silverman didn’t seem to be attacking anybody.  But it seems that Chabon’s wife, Ayelet Waldman, didn’t really like what Silverman wrote, and took to Twitter with the biggest “Oh snap” tweet of the week.

It also earns the “If it really upsets you, why would you draw more attention to it” award for the day, as well as the honor roll for best hashtag of the day that isn’t about Jeremy Lin.
