Even though the book was published in 1925, “2012 has already been deemed the year of The Great Gatsby,” according to Refinery 29.  While some may scoff at all the renewed attention Mr. Gatz and Daisy Buchanan are getting thanks to the latest upcoming film adaptation, let’s face it: it sure beats another year of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo being literature’s biggest inspiration on the fashion world.
