I’m not going to say Hair Lit is the most necessary anthology of short stories to come out in 2012 because our own Tobias Carroll is in it. I also won’t talk of its greatness due to stories by favorites like Roxane Gay and Leni Zumas. What I will say is that it is full of stories inspired by hair metal and it has one of the best covers I’ve seen all year. For those two reasons alone I’m beyond excited about getting my copy.
