While in a cabin in the woods of Pennsylvania, our managing editor came across the volume pictured above. While a casual skimming of the contents reveals, in fact, a well-thought-out guide to bringing writers to schools, with choice quotes from a number of YA authors, the imagination still tends to wander. What if, in fact, this was the handbook for some sort of “The Most Dangerous Game,” albeit literary? Or, perhaps, some variation on The Hunger Games, but with writers forced to, I don’t know, snark at one another via Twitter. “You like the Tournament of Books? It’s like that, only this time, only one writer’s walking away intact.”
“…yes, they’ll still get a rooster.”
The mind boggles, really.
