Lincoln Michel‘s debut collection Upright Beasts is due out later this year, and the cover is one of the most eye-catching ones we’ve seen in a while. I mean, it either features a nervous man wearing an elaborate bear costume or it represents our last glimpse of that same nervous man as he’s devoured by a particularly terrifying bear. Either way, we suspect that it will dwell in our nightmares for a good long while to come. Upright Beasts is due out from Coffee House Press in October. The bear-ridden nightmares are available now.
