This year brings with it news of a new novel from Brandon Hobson. We enjoyed his short novel Deep Ellum, about the strained relationship within a Dallas family, when it came out last year, and spoke with him about it shortly after its release. Hobson’s new book, Desolation of Avenues Untold, is due out in August and centers around the discovery of an archive of previously-unseen Charlie Chaplin films. It’s a setup that could go in a variety of directions, and we’re looking forward to delving into it and seeing where Hobson takes the idea.
