We’ve taken part in Popsickle, an annual event that brings together literary organizations from throughout Brooklyn, for several years now, and we’re excited to announced that we’ll be doing it again this year. The seventh installment of Popsickle will take place on Saturday, June 11 at Throne Watches (41-43 Wythe Avenue, Brooklyn, NY). Reading on behalf of Vol.1 Brooklyn will be Jane Liddle and Kyle Lucia Wu, two writers whose work we admire considerably.

Things will kick off at 1 p.m.; Kyle and Jane will both be reading in the 6-7 p.m. timeslot. The entire day looks to have a host of terrific writers, including Jami Attenberg, Naomi Jackson, and Sasha Fletcher. If you’d like to RSVP on Facebook, you can do so here.
