Enjoy Positive No’s Breece D’J Pancake-Inspired Single “Thanksgiving”

Over here at Vol.1 Brooklyn HQ, we enjoy noisy, catchy postpunk. We enjoy music that’s inspired by literature. And we enjoy the music of Richmond, Virginia’s Positive No. They’ve just released a new song, “Thanksgiving,” which takes its inspiration from Breece D’J Pancake’s story “First Day of Winter.” The song itself is terrific, and so’s the story behind it; what’s not to like, really? You can hear the song below, or on the band’s Bandcamp page.
