Tonight, Gal Beckerman is speaking in Park Slope. His book, When They Come for Us, We’ll be Gone, is the quintessential work on the struggle of Soviet Jews in the Cold War era. Gal will also be reading at WORD next Tuesday, and will be introduced by Vol. 1’s Jason Diamond.
Announcing: Taking Submissions for Fall/Winter Sunday Story Series
Vol. 1 is looking for original submissions for our Sunday Story Series. We will be taking submissions between now and Nov. 1st for the Fall/Winter. The stories can be fiction or non-fiction, and should be no more than 2,000 words. At the end of 2011, we plan on compiling the stories into an anthology for Julius Singer Press.
