Goodbye Captain Beefheart

Posted by Jason Diamond Don Van Vliet was a true genius.  I know it’s really simple to toss that word around, but very few people do things that defy any label, and Captain Beefheart did.  He was a truly unique and amazing individual whose music has brought me joy for a very long time, and I’m really sad to hear of his passing.
