Vol.1 Brooklyn and Community Bookstore are proud to welcome Laura van den Berg to Brooklyn to help celebrate the release of her new collection of short stories, The Isle of Youth. Her first collection, 2009’s What the World Will Look Like When All the Water Leaves Us was longlisted for The Story Prize and shortlisted for the Frank O’Connor International Award.
