The Only Reason I’d Want to go to Indianapolis: The Kurt Vonnegut Museum

I’ve actually never been to a museum for a writer, and I really don’t find myself in Indianapolis very often, but if for some reason I’m in Indy, I will check this out.

The Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library will open in November in the historic Emelie Building, at 340 N. Senate Ave. in Indianapolis. It will chronicle the author’s life and long literary career.  (Via CBS Chicago)

Thanks Largehearted Boy for the tip.

  1. on a trip to scotland and england, i saw dickens’ house and robert louis stevenson’s as well. the books they’ve written definitely make for more interesting mannequins than the famous writers’ empty desks, but i’m with you on this vonnegut library, if i ever find myself in indy
