The first time we heard Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy’s title track to his 1999 masterpiece, I See a Darkness, nobody would have thought the song would have ended up getting the cover treatment by Johnny Cash a year later on American III: Solitary Man.  

Twelve year later the song gets another reworking on an upcoming EP full of  older Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy songs that all get a new coat of paint.  The video for the song, featuring Will Oldham strutting through the streets of Glasgow, is available over at the New York Times T Magazine.
