Industrial Ruin and Shifted Perspectives in the Cover for Matt Bell’s “Scrapper”

We’ve been reading (and admiring) the work of Matt Bell for a while now; we ran an excerpt of his 2013 novel In the House Upon the Dirt Between the Lake and the Woods, and talked with him in 2012 about his short novel Cataclysm Baby. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to reading his forthcoming Scrapper, due out from Soho Press in September. Its cover, which was just announced, is gritty and evocative in equal measure.
