The book of Broken Social Scene

Today begins the rest of the year after South by South West, and the steady supply of new music throughout the spring and summer, but one group is planning on releasing something other than music this spring as the phenom that is Broken Social Scene and pretty much everything they touch will now move to yet another medium according to the website for their label Arts & Crafts. According to the website:

“The biography tracks the group’s inception by friends, Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning and their ground-breaking performances at Ted’s Wrecking Yard in 2000, that raised the bands local status to mythical proportions; the creation of Arts & Crafts records as well as a documentation of life on the road with revolving bandmates, including Feist, Jason Collett, members of Stars, Apostle of Hustle, Metric and The Dears.”
