I sat here and thought about how Revolution Girl Style Now! was put on the back burner when “girl power” was co-opted by the Spice Girls, how the literary scene as a whole is kind of a sausage fest, and how fucking cool it is to have something limited edition, handmade, by someone whose words make you pause, set down the book and say “Fuck yeah!”

I wanted that back and I set out to get it by inviting a group of female authors to create a zine with me. Then Cameron Pierce gave me the idea to have everyone make their own and package them as a box set.
