A Day for NYC’s Indie Bookstores

Last month, we wrote about some of the interesting things afoot in Chicago for Independent Bookstore Day. It warms our hearts, then, to see that NYC’s indie bookstores will also be holding various festivities throughout the day on Saturday. There’ll be events, signings, a marathon Langston Hughes reading (at McNally Jackson), a film screening (at La Casa Azul), and much more.
